Laid back Wednesday

It was still chilly Wednesday morning. And after two days of below temperatures and rain, it was a little foggy until about 10:00 a.m.

I ate a late breakfast of oatmeal with my morning pills.

I shaved, showered and got dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. It was supposed to get back up into the 80's today.

Sidebar: That will be the warmest it gets in the next 10 days! Fall seems to have come early this year.

I putzed around with household chores (doing a load of laundry, washing the bathroom floor, running the dishwasher, etc.)

I went outside to get  the mail around 3:00 p.m. It felt so nice to be warm again, I sat down on the porch bench for a bit. That "bit" turned out to be over two hours!!!

Sidebar: I kept thinking I should go trim more iris or something. But I didn't. I just sat there, enjoying what seems to be the last nice summer day.

Finally back inside, I warmed up my Red Lobster meal and ate that for dinner.

I watched the news and then a movie. Next, I watched the 11:00 p.m. news and the Tonight Show. Then I went to bed.
