And so it goes...

Well, this weekend maybe "Food Weekend" but today was all "Work Sunday."

After taking down the Christmas decorations (came across a few I'd missed, BTW) I took advantage of the mild weather and swept out the garage. Then I sanded down the bench that normally sits in the fern garden, and is now on the porch for the winter. Squirrels had stained it badly with the black walnuts. Repotted my philodendra. Changed the furnace filters.

Had to go to Home Depot to pick up some stain and found they had a 20% off sale on all table lamps. Found two that would work in the living room, so I picked them up (Thank God for credit cards!) It took almost an hour to assemble them, but they are now in place. Stained the board I made for another shelf in my TV stand in the bedroom.

Then I started laundry and housecleaning (a man's work is never done). Busted out laughing listening to the Beatles "Happiness is a Warm Gun" but, hey, that's just me...

Got everything cleaned and sparkling except for the two bedrooms. They can wait until tomorrow.
