I love living in Redford!

Saturday, when I went to barbeque the chicken, I found the lid of my grille was broken. Earlier this summer, the mechanism that allowed you to raise or lower the coals had also broke. I tried to fix that, but had no success. Since it was now two things on the grille that were inoperable, I decided to pitch it. Not sure if the garbage men will take it, or if I have to call the Township for a special pickup. But, hauled it out to the road when I got home tonight, as Tuesday is garbage day here (rest of real garbage will go out in the morning, so the wild things don't tear up the bags).

Before I got back into the house, a car pulled in and beeped it's horn. An elderly gentleman asked me what was wrong with the grille. I explained, but told him if he wanted it, feel free. He declined and drove away.

Glanced outside just now, and noticed the grille was gone...
