Last night, I came home and trimmed the other forsythia bush. Then I moved more leaves from the pile (I'm currently more than half way across the back wall, but am running out of leaves!) Then, I gave all the new-sowen grass seed a real good soaking (no forecasted rain until Tuesday).
I decided to grill a bunch of brats, so I would not have to take time out this weekend to make meals (also planned on making a pasta salad on Saturday - again, for no-fuss meals).
Went to light the cowboy charcoal after applying a liberal amount of charcoal lighter, but the lighter wouldn't work. Not sure why I did this, but closed the lid and went in search of another lighter. Finally found one, went out, opened the lid, and clicked it...
WHOOSH! I lost most of my eyebrows and a lot of my mustache!
Ate dinner, watched TV, and then went to bed, smelling of burnt hair.
Maybe my imagination, but even after this morning's shower, I still smell it...
