Rainy Friday Update

It's been so long since it was outside, I forgot to look at my rain gauge until just now. We had almost one inch of rain Thursday night through Friday afternoon.

I had to carefully pick up the mulch in the St. Francis garden. It had compacted into a thick, moldy mat. Used a pitchfork and a lot of care, but still think I trashed some of the emerging ferns that were trapped under the "mat". Then put down a fresh, thin coating of mulch. I'll add more when the plants are up (if they make it).
