Yesterday morning, the weather forecasters called for a 60% chance of light sprinkles.
They lied! It turned into an all day rain (I checked the rain gauge this morning and it showed over 1 inch). Great for the new grass, but bad for working outside.
First called my Mom and let her know Jeremy and the kids were home and safe. She appreciated the call. Then, I cleaned about half the house (so if its nice this weekend, I won't have to worry about it) and made dinner (just my smoked sausage, potatoes and onions mixture). Lazy? Sure, but I'm still a bit sore from last weekend, so...
I took the rest of the night off...
