Well, our drought seems to have abated. As I said before, we got 1/2 inch of rain on Father's Day. We then got almost a 1/2 inch of rain on Monday. Tuesday was dry, but it started raining in the middle of the night. Just checked the rain gauge and we got over 1/2 inch of rain so far today, and severe thunderstorms are predicted for tonight.
Makes that "watering the grass Sunday morning" look a little foolish, now...
