Saturday...

Woke up and washed all the laundry. Morning was a bit chilly and high today is supposed to be only 69 degrees F. So, I opened windows in every room to air the house out. Made an omelet with the remaining ham lunchmeat. Weeded the garden on Jake's patio, then went to get my hair cut (appointment at 10:00 AM). Stopped off at CVS afterwards, to pick up Jake's birthday card, then Farmer Jacks for a beef roast.

Pounded the cutting edge flat on my tree trimmer, then sharpened it with my dremmel tool. I have been concerned about my poor lawn cutting guy, as he has to duck under branches in the back. So trimmed any branch that I could touch. Cleaned that mess up. It's funny... if you walk from the front to the back, trimming branches, it doesn't seem like much until you turn around and then have to go and pick them all up!

Then put string on trimmer and once again started down the outside of my fenceline. Stopped when the string ran out. Came inside (was surprised to see it was after 3:00 PM!) and ate some barbecued chicken for lunch, then took the nap I've been planning on all week!

Refreshed, I went back to housecleaning. Did that until I got bored, gave up and watched TV for the rest of the night.
