Called Lu and filled her in on Riese's debut after work. Then, I watered all the containers in front, and the strawberry plants in back (they still aren't doing anything yet). I had to deadhead all the ivy geraniums again (the ones in the hanging baskets). I will tell you, these are nice and showy, but high maintenance!
Got out the blower to clean up the mess I'd made deadheading. Filled the birdfeeder and threw out some stale bread for the squirrels. Now it's about 7:00 PM, and I have to make a decision: Eat dinner or weed the front garden?
My tummy won, and I quit for the night. Had some left over chicken Parmesan and watched a movie.
