Came home Wednesday to find a brand new, shiny-red horse trailer backed into the driveway! Lu's been looking at options to haul all her cabinets and the table back to Virginia. She and Sadie have discussed buying a new or used trailer and Sadie specified she wanted a dual-axle one.

Well, covered dual-axle trailers are a bit pricey, and open ones are usually pretty big, so, I suggested a horse trailer (not only meets the requirements, but, since Luanne has a horse, practical, too).

So, she found a new trailer that met their budget amount up in Washington, Michigan, and picked it up. I would have like to see her backing it into my driveway, as I understand it took a l-o-n-g time. Hey, it gave my neighbors something to watch, lol!

Still too hot, dinner was cold leftovers, but it was supposed to rain overnight. However, when I checked the rain gauge Thursday morning, not even a trace was showing...

Not good...
