Blog convictions and restrictions

I started this blog with the idea I would never, ever put anything in it that would embarrass my relatives or friends (its bad enough what I say about myself). For example, my best friend said, "You better not put my name in your stupid blog!" which is why I refer to him as B___ (even though those who know me know exactly who that is). But, as I mentioned before, people in Japan, Belgium, England and so on read this daily (why I don't know, but God love ya!) so being TOO explicit seems like it might be a bad thing.

So, I am not sure how to handle this weekend's events. My Mom (who will be 99 on October 1, 2006) came home early from Lake Orion, under less than ideal conditions. Based on the reactions from my kids, I am sure the rest of the family hopes you are feeling better soon...
