Friday morning, I woke up with as scratchy throat. This not unusual, s with my sleep apenea, I snore A LOT and often wake up with a scratchy throat. However, my department head was off work two days with a cold (okay, I thought she was a whoosie) and only came in on Friday. I had a meeting with a co-worker, Ryan on Thursday and then he was off sick on Friday. So, this should be setting the stage for you...
Friday night, I cut up stewing beef and sauteed it in a pan. I am planning on going to my Mom's Saturday and showing off all the food I've prepared for her. Since Luanne (a vegetarian) is staying with her, I fired up the grill with charcoal and grilled up some portobello mushroom caps.
Since the coals were hot, I cooked a rib eye steak for me. I made some blue cheese compound butter for it. Delicious!
Watched TV and went to bed.
