Okay, so I talked to my daughter, Melissa tonight. She just got back from North Carolina and a visit with her grandson, Gavin, who is now 13 months old. Now, I admit I have never heard of this, but his parents learned that teaching an infant sign language supposedly leads to less problems in the "terrible twos" so, they have.
According to Melissa, Gavin has learned to sign the following:
Done
More
Grapes (he's apparently a "grape" a-holic)
Cheese
Bread
Food
More
Tree
Baby
Car
Pretty damn impressive, if I do say so myself!
