Saturday, I never left the house, except when I got on top it. You see, the leaves have mostly fallen now. I even called my landscaping guy this morning and asked to get on his list for a Fall cleanup (sometime late this week or early next). So, now I need to deal with the leaves on the roof.
Got the ladder and the electric leaf blower. Getting up there was easy, moving around with the blower was not, but I did get it done. However, climbing back down was WAY scary (I kept picturing falling onto the patio and breaking either my head or my legs).
Made a big pot of chili for lunch/dinner. Ran into a problem, but made a nice save: When I went to add in two cans of chili beans, found I only had one. Now, I actually like more meat than beans in my chili, but this looked more like taco filling, not chili, lol! What to do? Thought about chili and what goes with it (crackers, cornbread, cheese, etc.) then made up my mind and added a large can of sweet corn. Nice taste, nice texture (added a little "crunch"), nice "look," so, nice job John. Ate a bunch and froze the rest.
Watched a show about exorcism, a comedy special (not that those two went together, BTW) and ended my night watching boxing.
