Sunday

Sunday brunch was the remaining French Peasant bread (bought for the shrimp chowder yesterday). I cut it into 1 inch slices and Lu made them into French toast. Delicious!

When she was out yesterday, Lu picked me up one of those big glass jars of cooked beans. Added it to my soup, tweaked the seasoning a tad, and finally, the soup is done. Froze it.

Lazy day... Luanne said she didn't sleep well, so she mostly read on the couch during the early afternoon, while I watched TV in my bedroom. Then she started to wrap Christmas presents she had bought (so she can leave them here and not transport them back in a month).

I made Pasta Puttanesca for dinner and Luanne made a salad. Then we watched a movie (Snow Walker - excellent, BTW) and Extreme Makeover. After that, she went to bed and I read in my room until after 11:00 PM.
