Tuesday Night

Stopped on the way home and picked up a ham. Split pea soup was just that (split pea) and tasted good, but I was looking for split pea with ham soup. So, I diced up about a pound of ham and put it into the soup. Now, it's perfect. Had two bowls for dinner and froze the rest.

Kept checking election results while I watched TV. Hmmm... didn't turn out even close to what I wanted, but that's democracy for you. At least it was a record turnout in Michigan, and that's a good thing (even if the majority voted wrong, LOL!)

Happened to look out the window and saw fog creeping into my yard, around 9:00 PM. Interesting as, unlike living in St. Clair, I rarely see fog anymore. Got up to go to the bathroom around 2:30 AM and it was so dense that all the streetlights and shop lights were no longer visible, just multicolored glows surrounded by white.

It had all dissipated by the time I left for work...

  1. In honor of the election going so, so wrong (with all the Democrats winning), I decided the only thing left to do was to read a book about the O. J. Simpson trial.

  2. The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.
