I made the mistake of stopping at Meijer's after work to pick up a few things I'd missed grocery shopping last Saturday (plus, they had bird seed on sale). Why a mistake? Place was JAMMED! Didn't get home until after 6:00 PM.
While I was there, I picked up some new furnace filters. I figured with all the cleaning, air-blowing, etc., the old ones would be clogged and should be replaced. I was very surprised to find the ones I took out of the furnace were as clean as the ones I then put in. That vacuum So-Clean used must be pretty powerful!
I had to cook a steak for dinner. I'd thawed it out for Sunday's meal, but then changed my mind. So, I used my stove top griddle pan (which works great, but always makes a mess). While it was cooking, I sauteed some onions and the rest of the mushrooms (from Saturdays pork chop stuffing). When they were done, I added a quarter cup of balsamic vinegar and let them carmelize. Topped the steak with them... very good!
Putzed around putting things back in order from yesterday's upheaval. Watched a little TV, but turned in early.
