Got home last night and was glad to get out of the wind. It had been blowing hard all day and seemed to just cut right through me.
Dinner will be the last of the leftover chicken. What would be a good side dish for cold fried chicken? Noticed my red potatoes are beginning to sprout, so decided on potato salad (not diet-friendly, but tasty, none the less). So, peeled and cubed potatoes and put them on to boil. Then chopped celery, an onion, some fresh parsley and grated a carrot. Rinsed the potatoes in cold water and put them outside for a bit (might as well use that cold wind for something!) Mixed everything with a mayo, yellow mustard and a splash of buttermilk (interesting little kick) sauce, and then put it in the fridge to get cold.
Talked with my brother Joe and Jeremy. Jeremy's call was actually about five calls, as his cell phone kept cutting out.
Watched some taped shows and then ate dinner. Went to bed at 10:30 PM.

ReplyDeleteMy apologies on that. That damned Cingular telephone was about the worst purchase decision I have ever made. Hopefully, now that AT&T owns them, the service coverage will improve.
