Drove home in the rain on Thursday (rain - in January!) I vowed to myself that this night will be different!
So, started the laundry after changing clothes. Then I put a round steak in a honey-Dijon marinade for later. Next, bit the bullet and got on the exercise machine. I did the cardio workout, but only made it 10 minutes instead of my usual 20 (Hey first time I've used it in over three months!)
Then I brushed Scruffy (I've been promising him that for a long time, too).
Now for the acid test of the vent fan! Got out my cast iron griddle (the one that covers two burners on the stove). Prior to this, even with both bedroom doors shut, the kitchen window open and the ceiling fan on, using this would set off the smoke alarms before. But, turned the vent fan on High and grilled the steak. NO SMOKE ALARMS!!!
Made a salad to go with the steak. Very tasty! Watched TV and then went to bed, a happy, contented man...
no picture of the steak with honeymustard marinade? Or the air sweeping acrosss the kitchen and up the vent? Or Scruffy's brush job..........please get back to work
