TGIF

Got home Friday night to some sad news. My daughter Melissa had left a voicemail, telling me that her husband, Dave's, Mother had died. This was not a shock, as she had been ill for a while. At Melissa's request, I called both Luanne and my Mom to let them know. While I will see them Sunday, I do want to express my sympathy to the family.

Changed clothes and got to work. Put the workbench back in its place and started to fill it up. I screwed on a power strip to the back so I can easily plug in power tools. Once that was completed, I turned my attention to assembling the belt sander and the band saw.

I hate trying to translate instructions to actions, but I finally got 'er done. Next thing to do is to hang the light, but it's 7:30 PM and time to quit. Warmed up the chicken noodle soup and had two bowls watching boxing. Decided I probably stretched the leftover length of time so put the rest of the soup into freezer containers (there was only two left!!!)

When boxing was done, I swept and washed the kitchen floor, then went to bed.
