Poetry

Now I am the first to admit, I don't talk about other poets here (other than "The Road Less Traveled" by Robert Frost) because, well, hey, its all about me, right? But tonight, just by chance, I was reminded of a poem I also have always admired by Edna St. Vincent Millay:

First Fig

My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--
It gives a lovely light!

(think about it)
