Thank God its Friday! This has been the longest three-day work week ever!
Stopped and got Kentucky Fried Chicken and sides for dinner tonight. Jake and Carla are coming by after work. No big surprise, they beat me home.
We caught up on each other's lives. Carla was pumped. She just finished her internship, school is over next week and she graduates in just over four weeks. Jake helped me carry the picnic table and benches out from winter storage on the other patio. It was a cool night, so I lit a fire in the chiminea (first one of the season) and we sat out on the patio for a bit.
They left about 8:30 and I went and watched TV. Miracle of miracles, I stayed awake until 10:30! And, other than waking a couple of times for bathrooms breaks, I slept until 7:00 AM!
Did doing all that physical work in Virginia cure me of insomnia?
