I keep forgetting to tell you...

... but I did eventually find some Gold Bond lotion and so tried that Canadian Gal's idea (rubbing hand cream into the white stickers on the dark green hanging pots to get them off). It didn't work. What I should have mentioned is these were NOT paper stickers glued on. They were plastic, so they wouldn't absorb the Goo Gone or hand cream.

I suppose its cheating, but I eventually just bought some dark green spray paint and covered them up. You can tell at two feet, but they are invisible any distance beyond that.

Another problem solved!
