...when you're broke.
I was looking at my old 6-string guitar when this line of thinking occurred to me. Back in the day, when I really needed cash for something or another, I sold things that I really didn't want to. The short list would go something like this:
1. My 12-string guitar. You wouldn't guess it if I played guitar for you today, but back then, man, I could make that sucker sing!
2. My 22 revolver. You couldn't have stopped a raging miniature poodle with the damn thing, but, with the cheap cost of the bullets, it was a LOT of fun!
3. My wedding ring from my first marriage. Just a simple band of gold, but it would have been cool to pass it down to Amy or Melissa.
4. My Minneapolis-Moline Model B (1939-1947) tractor, Sure, my life has taken many a turn since those homesteading dream days, but I loved that big sucker!
