Damn Punxsutawney Phil, anyway!

They just said on the radio that Punxsutawney Phil (the official ground hog) saw his shadow, so there will be at least 6 more weeks of winter.

Okay, so I'm German and we tend to think in the extreme, but did anybody ever consider blinding old Punxsutawney Phil?
