Deserving of its own post...

I got a lovely, handmade Thank You card from my granddaughter, Riese in Thursday's mail. Why? For my sponsoring her in the March of Dimes Reading project. There was also a note from Jyl, saying Riese had raised a grand total of $122.34! Way to go, Riese!

I am always impressed when I get a thank you card, like Riese's or the little girl down the street for buying her Girl Scout cookies. We always had the boys send them when they were small, just as my mother made me as a lad, too. It's a nice bit of old fashioned etiquette that frequently gets missed in this modern world.
