Well then, let me tell you a funny story...

My daughter Melissa called last night. During our conversation, she confided in me that she and her husband were contemplating getting divorced! I tried to remain silent or at least non-committal as she talked about the various strains in their marriage (if there is anything I've learned in almost 60 years, it's to NOT take sides in these kinds of discussions. They get back together, somebody brings up what you said and then they both hate YOU!)

Then she yells, "April Fools!"

Good God! Why, you little...

I decided I would send her an April Fools card. So, I picked one out from American Greetings. I have had that account for at least 10 years now, so I've imported my address books several times over the years as email addresses change, etc. So, the American Greeting address book is a total mess.

Anyway, I pick out a card and type in the message: "You deserve this! Love, Dad" and send it. Now for those of you who don't use e-cards, what happens is that you get back a confirmation email saying this is the card you sent to so and so. And, if you send the card to multiple people, it tells you who they all were.

So, I get my confirmation email and see that, yes, I did send it to Melissa, but somehow I also managed to send it to my State Farm insurance agent, Pete!

I can't wait for his reply!
