An I Didn't Day

I thought about going in the back garden and raking out all the leaves all day long. When I got home, I was still thinking about it. But, I didn't...

Instead I put in the new seat bolts on the lawn tractor. It came with only two (the other two were missing) that were essentially giant thumb screws (see photos). Since there were just two and you couldn't really tighten them, the seat would start moving around whenever I used it. So, I picked up some bolts, lock washers and flat washers put it in the right position and bolted it down.

That done, I once again thought I should go rake. But, I didn't...

I decided it was really more important to brush both cats. A giant hairball on my living room rug lead me to that conclusion. Now, brushing cats is always a little weird. Because, at the start, they love it. You're paying attention to them and they are purring. But, inevitably, one brush stroke (and you never know which one) annoys them and then they try to bite or claw you. But, you're not finished, so you have to keep going, while now wrestling with them. You end up with a ticked off brusher and an equally ticked off brushee.

So, now it's almost 7:00 PM and I probably could still get some, if not all of the raking done before dark, if I go out right now. But, I didn't...

Instead, I started the Wednesday Night washload. I warmed up a couple hot dogs and ate that with the last of the tuna salad for dinner. I went in and watched some TV, hoping to stay awake for the next Top Chef (which comes on at 10:00 PM) But, I didn't...
