I raced home on Monday, but made one stop at the post office. I need stamps and I have a birthday card to mail. I got home, quickly changed clothes and started painting the trim in the bedroom.
It's a perfect night as it is cool, with a North breeze. I had taped off the windows on Sunday. So, I cracked open the windows and I added tape to the baseboard and got going. Last night, my sinuses all clogged up, sleeping in the same room as the drying ceiling, BTW.
Geez! I dunno... This is supposed to be the "lighter" of the two blues and its pretty damn dark! But, if I learned anything from the original "pink" living room to the now "wine" colored room (bite me, Carl and Jake), I know you can always repaint.
My knees have been shot all day, but I only need to get up on that damn step to paint the tops of the window moldings. So, today is not so bad...
I worked steadily and by 8:15 PM I had the trim painted on the two outer walls. Man, this is much darker than I thought it would be! Not sure how much of an "accent" the accent wall will be!
I got cleaned up and warmed up two hamburgers for my dinner (with large curd cottage cheese on the side. Hamburgers are really too big to eat two at one time, BTW. I watched a movie and then went to sleep.
