Tragic Climbing Accident Leaves One Gnome Injured!

Dateline: Redford, MI.

A tragic climbing accident in this small Midwest City has left one gnome injured, sources say. While the three gnomes have spent two summers now climbing a bush in front of CaptainK's residence, sometime yesterday, the bottom third of the rope rotted through. The lowest gnome seems to have fallen to the ground below as, unfortunately, according to eyewitnesses; he was not "on-belay" at the time. From the photograph posted on Piece Offerings dot com, it would appear he suffered some head trauma.

CaptainK was visibly upset, telling this reporter, "I can't even notify his next-of-kin as I don't know his name! They never would share their Gnomenclature!"

But, the Captain did go to Lowe's after lunch and picked up a new rope. So, after work, he went out and removed the old, rotting one and hooked them all back up with a new sisal rope.

He advised them of the advantage of registering their names, as well as next of kin, with him, stressed the importance of "on-belay" and asked that they please, please, please, be more careful.

Reportedly, the gnomes never said a word...
