Last Time

I got home on time Thursday night, but with this and that, I didn't get started mowing the lawn until 5:45 PM. I was extra careful NOT to run over the places where I had sown the fall grass seed. I did mow down the tiger lily "hedge" in the front yard so my brother wouldn't rag on me about deadheading it.

I moved into the back yard and again, took pains to avoid the seeded areas. It is a good thing the mower has headlights because I cut the last half of the yard in the dark! I can't wait to see how it looks, lol! But, I'll have to, because it's dark when I leave for work, now.

I really liked cutting the grass on Thursday, BTW. That way, it always looked nice over the weekend and grass cutting itself was not then a "weekend chore." But, it looks like this is the last time I will be able cut it on a weekday this year (unless I spread it out over two days).

I got in the house at 8:30 PM. I warmed up some leftovers and ate them, reading a book. I was beat, so I didn't even bother turning on the TV. I just went to bed after eating.
