that when you are carrying a bowl full of something (like when I refill the cats water and carry one of them to the bedroom and one downstairs) if you constantly look at the bowl you will inevitably slosh it over the side?

I read that a while ago and found it to be true. You must focus your eyes on something farther away and then you don't spill it.
