I have watched the little bit I still had left in my 401k evaporate today (first time the S&P's fallen below 10,000 in four years). To cheer me up, Jake sent me a link to yesterday's Family Guy show (that I missed) called: I Dream of Jesus.
In case you need cheering up, too, go to: http://www.hulu.com/watch/37768/family-guy-i-dream-of-jesus
But, for this post, I will fill you in. The Griffin family is at a 1950's diner. All the wait staff is dressed in 1950 outfits (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, James Dean, etc.) The waiter they get is on two crutches, with leg braces.
Chris (the teenage son) says, "What are you, a robot?"
The waiter says, "No, this is the fifties and I have polio."
Chris says, "I never heard of that!"
Peter explains, "Oh yes, polio in the '50s was like Aids today, only people with polio can still get into Heaven"
Wow - Glad to hear that!
