Fall Cleanup ToDo List

1. Clear off shelves in back room
2. Empty all container gardens in front and put away in garage
3. Remove all perennials from front gardens
4. Weedwack hostas and lilies
5. Rake out garden debris
6. Fertilize front garden and work in.
7. Cut back wisteria on trellis
8. Remove all statues in front and put in garage/back room
9. Cut the front lawn
10. Take in bird bath, bird house, humming bird feeder
11. Blow off patios
12. Cut the grass in back
13. Remove all statues in back and put in garage/back room
14. Move fountain to Jakes patio (put pump in garage)
15. Drain tub and let river rocks dry
16. Move all furniture to Jakes patio
17. Drain all hoses and put on Jakes patio
18. Cover outdoor stuff with tarp and secure
19. Blow out fence hose
20. Cut back and cover roses in back with foam cones
21. Spray unwanted vegetation in back with herbicide
22. Drain reflecting pool and cover with board
23. Put board on top of AC unit
24. Stain play structure

  1. That was the list for this weekend. I still have more leaves up on the trees in back than have fallen. So, no point in doing gutters, now. I took picture for you to illustrate my point, but haven't posted it yet.

  2. You could always "pay" your grandkids to help you with this list. Riesey just said that she would work for your clam chowder, and Joe will undoubtedly work for biscuits and sausage gravy, pepperoni pizzas, and cheeseburgers (he's been bulking up quite a bit in his weights class this year).

  3. LOL! Paying with food, eh? Clever idea. But, really, I do all this every year and it doesn't all have to be done in a day. I'm just whining...
