We had quite loud thunderstorms Sunday night and it was still going on when I woke up Monday morning. When I drove to woke, it had lessened to a rain shower.
The sun did come out mid-morning, but at lunchtime, it was pouring again. It finally stopped in the afternoon.
When I got home, my biggest fears of this damn daylight saving switcheroo were realized. It was already twilight and by 6:00 PM, it was full dark. So, no more weekday after-work outdoor chores!
Inside, I bought this year's Christmas cards online from the Paralyzed Vets. I made dinner from the leftover pasta with tomatoes and olives.
Not being very inspired or gung ho, I took the rest of the night off as well, watching TV until 10:00 PM, then going to bed.
