I woke up at 6:30 AM on Friday. I got about six and a half hours of sleep and only woke up four times. I finished and posted the Blog.
Then I went outside and began the watering.
Back inside, with the timer set, I warmed up a cup of coffee and contemplated my day. Once both new grass areas were watered, I started my daily ablutions.
By 10:00 AM I was shaved, showered, dressed and had the morning chores done. I went and rested on the bed, watching TV.
Jake stopped by again at lunch time. This time he brought Arby's Roast Beef sandwiches, "horsey sauce" and curly fries for the two of us.
After he left, I returned a voicemail from my brother Carl. He wanted to see how I was doing and to let me know what's going on up there (he is having his roof replaced). Since he will be having the exact same operation someday soon, he was very discouraged when I told him the difficulty of wiping your butt with your left hand (hey, it may sound gross, but, believe me, it's a real problem!)
Anyway, after we hung up. I watched some more TV until the sitting position I was in became uncomfortable. So, I moved to the living room and my recliner. I was hoping to take a nap, you see. But, I was still wide awake at 3:20 PM when the phone rang.
It was Lu, calling from her cell phone, to let me know she was heading for Pennsylvania, staying in a motel tonight and then reaching Michigan tomorrow night. She wants to visit my Mom and help out with whatever she can.
After that, sleep seemed impossible. So, I cleared out the kitchen, vacuumed-swept the floor and then washed it. I finished up at 6:00 PM.
I had planned a nice dinner for tonight, but without a nap, it seemed daunting. So, I opened up a can of chili (my favorite: Hormel chili with beans) and warmed it up, instead. I topped it with some shredded cheddar cheese and wandered off to watch TV.
I fell asleep waiting for the Friday Night Fights (at 10:00 PM tonight for some reason). I work up at 12:30 AM and then went to bed. Well, I went to chair, lol!
Yea, I felt pretty stupid asking for "horsey sauce" but I noticed when I got to your place that that is what they actually label it. I always just thought you were being weird.
