Monday

So, it was off to work on Monday morning. I was not real happy about my work output over the weekend, so I was a bit bummed.

Back at home for lunch, it was unseasonably warm. So, I raked a bunch of leaves from the lawn to under the arborvitae. I like to mulch them in the fall with maple leaves; I really think it helps. I also checked the lawn tractor and found (like my friend B___ had suggested) the negative battery cable had come loose. No wonder it wouldn't start! I reconnected it and tightened it down, then fired it up. Perfect.

I ate the last of the lasagna for lunch, BTW.

When I got home at 5:15 PM, it was 68 degrees. Unfortunately, it was almost dark, too. So, the gutters and the back lawn will have to wait another day. However, there are things that need to be done inside as well.

So, I treated the cats and changed my clothes. So, I first emptied the dishwasher and put everything away. I have the lasagna pan soaking, BTW. Then I switched out the kitty litter (garbage day is tomorrow).

Then I used the electric sweeper to clean the floors in my bedroom and the office (something else that didn't get done this past weekend). I watched the tail end of the local news and the NBC nightly new, resting my aching right leg.

When Wheel of Fortune came on, I went in and filled the Blog entry up to date. I noticed Pat Sajak is starting to look his age, but I can't figure out how Vanna White still looks so hot like 25 some years later than when I first watched her with Amy in the hospital...

I was hungry but didn't feel like making dinner. So, I opened a can of Hormel Chili, heated it and ate it watching a taped show. Then I turned the TV off and read until bedtime.
