Sunny Saturday (for a change)

I awoke at 6:30 AM on Saturday. I reached over to get my glasses off the night stand and they weren't there! I was confused a bit until I remembered they'd fallen off my face last night when I was reading. So, I searched around with my hands (I couldn't see) until I found them on the floor.

I kicked the cats off the bed, stripped it and took the bedding downstairs to wash. But, I decided to make the bedding my second load and washed all the darks, first. I need something to put on this naked body after my shower.

Upstairs, I washed the first of the stuff that had been soaking since I made the lasagna. That load consisted of the various parts of the food processor. Now, I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here, but for you newbie's, I gotta tell you some of the worst cuts I ever had in the kitchen have come from washing the blades of a food processor. Be careful!

I eventually shaved and showered and got three loads of laundry done. It's sunny and warm outside and I find myself drawn to go work out there. But I made myself a promise that all outside work here would be done on Sunday. So, I stayed inside...

I took a nice nap in the afternoon and finally finished washing up all the large stuff from the lasagna dinner. I also emptied the dishwasher.

For dinner, I warmed up the rest of the Chop Suey and wild rice. I splashed it with good soy sauce and ate it watching the Godfather (Part 1). Finding out it was some sort of Godfather movie marathon night, I started watching Godfather (Part 2) until I fell asleep.
