I woke up after just four hours of sleep Thursday morning. At therapy, when I got up after lying on the hot pads for 20 minutes, I was dizzy. So, Maureen took my blood pressure. It was 98/60 which she said was low, but not dangerously low.
One funny thing happened. When she was putting on the cuff and pumping it up, I said to her, "I always hoped we would play doctor one day, but this isn't really what I had in mind!" I said it loud because she had the stethoscope in her ears, but I didn't realize how loud until the entire room (therapists and patients) cracked up!
Anyway, when I got home from therapy, I undressed, climbed back into bed and slept until 12:30 PM! When I got up, I started the now-late Wednesday laundry. I also had to do the bedspread as one of the cats coughed up a hairball when I was gone this morning (Thanks! Nice!).
While those were working their way through the washer/dryer cycle, I emptied the dishwasher, washed down the counter and the stovetop and did other miscellaneous chores. Finally, the clothes were hung up, the bed re-made and I was hungry. I ate two bowls of that chili (I need to get the pan out of the fridge. I need the room!)
I watched a taped show (Top Chef Reunion) but turned in early at 10:00 PM.
