Monday, Monday...

When I woke up on Monday for work, the snow was still there. It did melt on my road yesterday, though (probably from the sun). But, with it being only 28 degrees F., I suppose the dreaded "black ice" is something to consider this morning.

Fortunately, (did I just say "fortunately?") it had snowed overnight and the roads were covered with crunchy white stuff, rather than black ice.

On the way home from work, I stopped and picked up a loaf of rye bread and some sliced Swiss cheese. I still have a lot of ham to work through.

My daughter Melissa called around 6:00 AM and we chatted for a bit. She said that big snowstorm out east was west of them (in the mountains) and all they got was a lot of rain.

I snacked on the last of the deviled eggs while I assembled my ham sandwich dinner (I used spicy brown mustard, this time). I added some olives and wandered in to see what was on TV.

It was about halfway through the sandwich (delicious, BTW) when I remembered I like olives with turkey sandwiches. This ham sandwich called out for a dill pickle, instead!
