I actually do remember where I was in 1980 when the US hockey team won the gold!
Luanne and I happened to be out at my friend Leon's ranch. He had the TV turned on and we watched the event.
It was awesome!!

There is hockey during the Olympics? Really, huh.I wager people would watch if the press gave more attention to hockey and less to the outfits, bumps, bruises, and tantrums of figure skaters.
