Monday

When I came home at lunchtime on Monday, I stopped in at CVS to pick up my prescriptions. Then, I cut the rest of the front grass with the push mower. It's supposed to start raining around 3:00 PM, but I at least wanted the front lawn to be done.

Sure enough, it did start raining (I was hoping it would hold off until I could cut the back lawn).

At home after work I decided that, since I was stuck inside anyway, I'd clean the house. So, I did. I finished up a little after 7:00 PM. Is it perfect? No. But I got up all the cat hair (and there was a ton of it) and washed the kitchen floor. So, it looks a little more respectable that when Jake and Carla were here on Saturday morning. Next I got the garbage ready for the morning, pitching out the suspect leftovers from the fridge.

I made a can of split pea soup for a quick, light dinner and then watched TV until 11:30 PM.
