Soggy Start to Sunday...

(I was getting tired of that Rainy Days and _____ subject line)

I woke up at 7:00 AM and, guess what? It was raining! I stripped the bed and threw the bedding in the washer.

The rain stopped just after 9:00 AM. I went outside in my bathrobe to check the gauge (I appreciate letting the boys air out). I picked up another 3/4 inch of rain from the time I checked late Friday night. It was still overcast and I think cutting the lawn won't be an option, today.

Still in my bathrobe, I vacuumed up all the cat hair. Then I shaved and showered. Next I started cleaning all the glass surfaces, the bathrooms, etc. I made up the bed and considered my options.

I watched some cooking shows and took a welcomed nap. At 5:00 PM, I surveyed the front and back lawns. I thought I could use the push mower out front, but the back yard was still too soggy to use the big tractor.

So, I cut the front and side lawns and then went out back to trim the areas the big tractor doesn't fit. I found a stand of volunteer catnip and that the radishes had sprouted. I took the catnip inside and watched the cats do their thing (Scruffy usually eats it and then takes a nap; Caley likes to roll in it).

I got the camera and went outside. Back inside, I posted the pictures and then buttoned everything up for the night.

I ate the rest of the steak and grilled potatoes. I added some saut�ed mushrooms to the dish. I watched my Sunday night shows and went to bed about 10:30 PM.
