I forgot mention it, but I learned a good trick yesterday. Up until now, to make my watermelon chunks, I'd cut off a one inch slice and laboriously cut off the rind. I'm not sure where I saw this done (I think it was either Iron Chef America or Iron Chef Japan) but somebody cut the damn thing in half, cut off the end and then went down the sides (like I peel an eggplant) with their knife. I tried it and it worked like a champ! See photo!!
