I woke up late and made a pot of coffee (its my new day-off day). I drank two cups sitting on the couch, watching the day go by. I ate cold pizza for brunch.
Around noon, I put a tablecloth on the wood table and dug out all the stuff from under the sink. Then I got out the tools I needed to replace the hot water faucet stem (the one that drips).
When I pulled it out, part of it stayed in the hole! So, I tried using needle-nose pliers (too big), then toothpicks (kept breaking) and so on. After I sliced the sh*t out of my finger on a sharp edge, I gave up (momentarily) in disgust.
I went out back, untwisted the hammock and took a nap. When I woke up, I went out to get the mail (and my bike title). Instead of my title, I had a note from my carrier that said they attempted to deliver an envelope that required my signature and I could get it at the Post Office. Since it was already after 5:00 PM, I guess I’ll get it tomorrow.
I made tuna and peas with egg noodles for dinner (using water out of the bathroom). I was ignoring the kitchen sink for the moment. I watched TV until 10:00 PM and then went to bed.
