I woke up at the incredible hour of 11:00 AM on Saturday. I have accidentally found a way to deal with my sleep apnea. For like 10 years, I have had blue curtains hung on the edges of the bedroom windows and the windows themselves covered with white mini-blinds.
Well, Friday when I wanted to take a nap, the sun on the mini-blinds was annoying. So, I closed the curtains (I’ve never done that before). Bingo! The darkened room let me sleep and I’ve left them that way ever since. Much better sleep conditions!
I ate a big bowl of potato soup for breakfast/lunch after I found my glasses (not the original “black-hole” ones, but my current pair). They were on the nightstand, but I couldn’t see them or feel them. So, I pulled the bed out and pushed it up against the TV (thinking they’d fallen back there). Then I got my third-oldest pair out and put them on. That’s when I spotted them on the nightstand.
But, I also spotted a lot of cat hair on the floor where the bed was. However, the vacuum cleaner was downstairs and it seemed like a lot of work to haul it upstairs. So I left the bed where it was (to remind myself I needed to clean it up) and watched some cooking shows.
It was nice because I could finally read the words on the TV screen (my eyes are getting BAD!)
For my evening enjoyment, I watched the original Jurassic Park. Instead of a formal supper, I ate some hunter sausages Jake and Carla gave me on Thanksgiving. I went to sleep when the movie was over.
