Catching Up

Sunday, Sunday

I woke up Sunday morning with an overwhelming desire for some Cinnamon Rolls. So, I pulled down a Paula Deen recipe that sounded good and printed it off. I studied it drinking my first cup of reheated coffee (I know). Jesus! There was yeast, warm water, flour and once you got the dough made, you needed the filling and then the glaze!!

I wish I had a tube of that Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll stuff. I gave up on the whole idea and ate two pieces of sourdough bread, toasted, for breakfast.

In spite of all the stuff I have to do outside before winter sets in, I stayed inside and putzed.

About 2:00 PM, I put together a roast. I thought I’d try something different, so instead of the slow cooker, I put it in my cake pan on top of some carrots, potatoes, onions and chunks of rutabagas. I went on the Internet to get some cooking times and temperature.

However, they were wrong! All my beautiful veggies were burned, except the ones directly under the roast. I did get a meal out of it, though.

I watched my Sunday night shows and went to bed at 11:30 PM.
