I should have worked Wednesday (to make up for Monday) but I had already scheduled a dentist appointment.
It was supposed to be sunny and warm (a forecasted high of 63 degrees!) so I was torn between riding the bike or doing the remaining yard work. However, the weatherman said there was fog in my area.
But, when I left for the dentist, it wasn’t fog. It was drizzle. I had to use the windshield wipers on the way there and back. I was hopeful, however, that the sun would burn off the “fog,” the leaves would dry out and I could cut the grass.
I waited, and waited and waited... When it was still gray and gloomy at 3:00 PM, I took a nap. I woke up around 5:00, just as the sun (which had finally come out, I guess) was setting.
So, no outside work got done. I made a toasted cheese sandwich for my dinner and gave up.
Get on the bike or give it back!
ReplyDeleteCan he trade it for one with training wheels?
ReplyDeleteHave to be some pretty durable ones for how often he drops it.
ReplyDeleteI actually thought of that! I figured I'd have my friend Tracy weld me up some brackets and then put the little trailer wheels on the ends and I'd be good to go!
