It was still cold here on Monday (I think the high was 26 degrees F. or so) but it was sunny in the afternoon. That always lifts my spirits!
Work was a typical Monday: three meeting, constant crisis, miscommunication, etc. I was very glad (and tired) when it was over.
The first thing I did when I got home (after treating the cats, of course) was to go through the fridge with a fine tooth comb. Tomorrow is trash day, so I checked the expiration date on EVERYTHING. I threw away about half of a kitchen bag’s worth of old stuff.
Then I put on my boots and trucked three bags of garbage to the road. Snow is forecast for tomorrow, so I’d rather do this in the dark than in the snow.
I did have a dinner planned, but realized I didn’t have any onions. So, I dug though the chest freezer and found my last Marie Callender’s chicken pot pie. I made that in the microwave and ate it watching TV. I went to bed early.
