Tuesday

Tuesday was another crappy day, weather-wise. It was snowy and cold (the high never got much above 30 degrees F.) The wind cut like a knife!

My biggest event today was procuring Christmas stamps. I stopped at CVS to get my Christmas cards and then headed to the Post Office. But, when I got there, there wasn’t an empty parking slot.

So, I went back there after work (about 4:30 PM – I had a late meeting) and stood in line behind four people with boxes to mail. Each of them had to decide how quick they wanted the package shipped, insurance, etc.

It was finally my turn and I just asked for two books of Christmas stamps. I was told they’d sold them out about 10:00 AM! So, I went home, empty handed and annoyed.

I warmed up the pot roast and veggies and topped them with jarred beef gravy for dinner.
